Obituary of Douglas Ernest Smith

Smith: Douglas E., a resident of Glencoe and formerly of West Lorne, passed away suddenly at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday September 20, 2014 at the age of 81. Born in Pickering Twp., Ontario, son of the late Ernest and Charlotte (Kuhnel) Smith. Doug was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union U.A. 496, Calgary and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Loving father of Alan Smith of Windsor, Sherry Martin (Don) of Texas. Loving grandpa of Kenny, Donny, Rocky, Karis, Cassie,and Kevin. Predeceased by brothers Ed amd Jay Smith. A graveside service will be held at the Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville on Tuesday, September, 23, 2014 at 10:30AM. if desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
