Obituary of Maurice Joseph Lesy

Lesy: Maurice Joseph, a resident of R.R.#1 Thamesville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the age of 74. Born on the farm, son of the late Remi (1976) and Juliana (Delanghe) Lesy (2000). Maurice farmed all his life in Wabash. Beloved husband of 53 years to Linda (Stallaert) Lesy. Loving father of Jerry and Sharon Lesy and Laurie and Tom Vanrabaeys. Loving grandpa of Ashley, Jeff, Hillary, Nicole, Kate, Tara, and Jared. Loving brother of the late Cyriel Lesy and his wife Brenda Lesy. Dear brother-in-law of the late Alexis Sharrow, Ray and Pam Stallaert, Lavina and Don Toulouse, Allan and Simone Stallaert, and Eric and Kathy Stallaert. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Lesy family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00AM with Fr. Ray Lawhead as Celebrant. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations by cheque to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
