Cook: Robert Charles a resident of Florence, passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 79. Born in Tilbury, son of the late Maurice and Lavina "Dolly" (Dibbley) Cook. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Kynoch) Cook. Loving father of George Cook of Florence, , Maurice "Moe" Cook (Karen) of Oil Springs, Clayton Cook (Sherry) of Strathroy, Bryan Cook (Sharron) of Elmira and Terry Cook of Windsor. Proud Grandpa of by 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Don Cook (Donna), Marjorie Quick, Carolyn McMahon (John), Richard Cook (Donna), and Sandra Mailloux . Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Lois Hillier and brothers George, Thomas, and Neil Cook, a brother-in-law Roy Quick, and sister-in-law Donna J. Cook. The Cook family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, the Florence I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 196 will hold a memorial service at 6:30pm Monday evening. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11am. Interment Shetland Cemetery. If desired donations by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
