Obituary of Ann Cunningham

CUNNINGHAM, Audrey Ann (nee Langford) of Meadow Park Nursing Home formerly of Kent Bridge, passed away Sunday October 25, 2015 at the age of 79. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years John Sr. and will be sadly missed by her children, Jay (Lezlie), Lynn (Steven Mills) and David. She was the proud grandmother to Jamie and Kelsey Cunningham of Kent Bridge, Jacob and Spencer Mills and Julia, Grant and Charlotte Cunningham of Richmond Va. Ann partnered with her husband John on their family farm in Kent Bridge. In her retirement years, she spent her winters at their home in Lady Lake, Florida where she enjoyed socializing with friends and neighbors. She was a proud alumnus of Brescia College. Ann served 3 terms as Chatham Township Councilor, was secretary to the Kent Federation of Agriculture, and was a lifelong member of the PC party having worked for both Andy Watson, MPP and Elliott Hardy, MP in their constituency offices. The Cunningham family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday October 30, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:30- 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 31 at 11:00 am. with Pastor Bob McCall officiating, Interment at the Arnold Cemetery, Louisville. The family asks that charitable donations in honor of Ann be made to the Arnold Cemetery or the Alzheimer's Society of Chatham-Kent.
