Ellis, Elizabeth Mae (Betty) – Quietly slipped away on the morning of October 29, 2015 at Lambton Meadowview Villa in her 79th year. She formerly lived in Dresden for 75 years with her beloved husband the late Donald Ellis (2009). Missing her everyday will be her daughters Kari (Marcel) Salenbien and Kim (Jim) McGuire. The best cookie making Nana to her grandchildren Justin Salenbien, Brady Salenbien (Brooke), Katlyn McGuire (John) and Michael McGuire (Adelaine). Fond memories will be kept close to their hearts of her by sisters Hester Glover and Dora North. Predeceased are parents Wilfred & Gladys Shaw, sister Irene Beck, brother Lee Shaw, mother-in-law Winnie Simpson, brothers-in-law John Beck, Stan Glover and Harold North and sister-in-law Gerry Shaw. Mom will be fondly remembered by all her nephews, nieces, and friends for her love of cards, golf, family gatherings and her younger days of horsemanship. A special thank you to Meadowview 2nd floor staff for their loving care in her final years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Badder & Robinson Memorial Forest, Mosa Twp. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
