McDonald: Lee Norman of Dawn Township passed away after a short but brave battle with cancer on Sunday December 20th 2015 at the age of 66, at CKHA Sydenham Campus. Loving husband and best friend of Connie (Davis) McDonald. Father of Michael of Dresden, John (Angela) of Belle River and Jason (Colleen) of Dresden. Six grandsons; Darren, Matthew, Tyler, Andrew, Alexander and Jeffrey and two precious granddaughters; Leah and Jaelyn. Survived by sisters Carole (Stan) Cernanec of Chatham, Dolores (Stu) Pugh of Charing Cross, Marlene (Harold) Harvey of Newfoundland, Catherine of Ottawa; a sister-in-law Linda McDonald of Petrolia; mother-in-law Eleanor Davis of Dresden and several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Nelson and Norma (Bell); a brother Bruce McDonald and a brother-in-law Harry Thompson. At Lee's request cremation has taken place at Southwest Crematorium, Strathroy. A private family graveside service will be held at Blackburn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Dresden Community Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
