VanHooste: Murray John, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the age of 70. Born in Chatham, son of the late Edmund and Leontine (Vanwolvelaer) VanHooste. Beloved husband of Gayle (Marriott) VanHooste. Loving father of Teresa Howes (Dave) of Thamesville, Murray E. VanHooste of Leamington, Dave VanHooste (Becky) and Christine VanHooste (Bill Fraser) all of Thamesville. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mitch, Zack, Tricia, Spencer, Gwen, Quinn, Emily, Brady, Jordan, Brooke, Morgan, Darcy, Myles, Morgan and great-grandchildren Harley and Logan. Dear brother of Marry Carter of Ridgetown and Alphonse VanHooste (Lois) of Thamesville. Also survived by may nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Margaret Sherrah. At Murray`s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place at Southwest Crematorium, Strathroy. A private family graveside service in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville will be held at a later date. If desired donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
