Van Der Paelt: Jeremy F. passed away suddenly as the result of an ATV accident on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the age of 21. Much loved son of Carol (Van Der Paelt) Wilson (Dan), Jeff Van Der Paelt (Carol). Jeremy will be forever missed by his best friend and sister Brittany Van Der Paelt and her fiance Brendan Allen and step sister Mckenzi and step brother Logan. Cherished grandson of Joseph and Martha Van Der Paelt, John and Shirley Bloom and Eileen Wilson. Sadly missed by Aunts and Uncles, Ron and Sarah Van Der Paelt (Zachary, Madeline, and Nicholas), Bob and Doreen Bloom (Bill and Kristen), Cathy and Mark Smith (Jennifer (Matt) and Ashley), Kim and Joe Neto, Kim Wilson, Sean and Lisa Wilson (Griff and Kam), Dawn Cooper (Will, Brook, Molly, and Ella). Jeremy graduated from the Good Shepherd School, Thamesville, the Pines Chatham, and Lambton College, Sarnia. He was employed as a power engineer at Shell Canada, Sarnia. Jeremy enjoyed coming home to the farm and spent much time fishing and hunting. He loved to travel and will be remembered for his kindness and his sense of humour. Jeremy you will be forever in our hearts. Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Jeremy's Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville.
