Obituary of Robert Philip Girard

Robert Philip Girard, a resident of Dresden passed away with his family by his side on Monday, March 14, 2016 at his home. Born in Chatham, son of the late Erskine and Lovella (Roberts) Girard. Beloved husband and companion to LouAnn (Jacques) Girard. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Weston (Cindy), Dean (Joyce), Bonita (Chuck), Juanita (Murray), Brenda, Wilbert. Loved son-in-law of Louis and Ellen Jacques. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and the Jacques Family. Predeceased by brother John (Brenda); sister Maria (Wilbert); niece Jacqueline and nephew Robert. Bob retired from the CKHA - PG Campus after more than 35 years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Lambton-Kent Memorial Arena, 1212 North St., Dresden. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dresden Legion Br. 113 - Poppy Fund for all their support and assistance through this difficult journey would be appreciated.
