Kjeldsen: It is with great sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of our Mother, Agnete Christine Kjeldsen at home on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Bothwell, at the age of 87. Beloved mother of Birthe Kjeldsen, Bente Bannon (Wayne), Grete MacKenzie (Doug), Otto Kjeldsen (Michelle), Kate Kestle (Tom), Peter Kjeldsen (Freda), Linda Kjeldsen (Greg), Joann Kjeldsen, Donna Dey (Tim), and Frances Kjeldsen. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Eric Jensen and sister Esther Jensen both of Denmark. Predeceased by her husband Jorgen Viggo Kjeldsen (2001), a daughter Bente (1947), son-in-law Tom Kestle (2014), and parents Anna and Alfred Jensen of Denmark. Agnete was dedicated to her family and community, having worked at Four Counties Hospital in Newbury where she also volunteered for many years following her retirement. She was also actively involved with the Bothwell Seniors Group and Bothwell Women`s Institute. Mom was an avid gardener and was a great support to many family, neighbours and friends. Mom always helped others in need and always had a cup of coffee or tea ready for anyone. Friends and family will be received at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 12:30pm until the time of the Celebration of Agnete's Life at 1:30PM with Rev. Steve Filyer officiating. Cremation has taken place at Southwest Crematorium, Strathroy.
