Wolfe: Velma Blanche formerly of Thamesville passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown at the age of 96. Born in Bothwell, daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha (Berry) Humphrey. Beloved wife of the late John A. Wolfe (1975). Loving mother of Dorothy & Calvin Paul, Doris DeSutter (Frank 2013) and Larry & Marlain Wolfe. Cherished grandma of David Paul, Bruce Paul, Brian Paul, Adam Wolfe and Becky Hunter. Sadly missed by 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Christine Christensen. Predeceased by sisters Esther Humphrey, Gladys Jones and Donna Nealey and brothers Robert, Norman and Gordon Humphrey. The Wolfe family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired, donations may be made at the funeral home to the charity of your choice. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
