Burgoyne: Ronald S., formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Riverview Garden's, Chatham on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 85. Born in Plumas, Manitoba son of the late Simon and Eva (Terry) Burgoyne. Ron was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Canadian Army for 21 years and had retired from Motorwheel . Beloved husband of the Late Ruth Burgoyne (2003). Loving father of Brenda Braun (Michael) of Ridgetown, David Burgoyne (Amy) of Pennsylvania, Peter Burgoyne of Wawa and Gary Burgoyne (Sherry) of Hamilton. Sadly missed by grandchildren Emily (Scott), Marshall (Karen), Angus, Ben (Terri-Lynne), Stephen (Karissa) and Rebecca (Chris), and great grandchildren Aislynn, Cohen, Alex, Joshua, and Evelynn. Predeceased by brothers Terry, Everett, Ken and Neil Burgouin. The Burgoyne family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Cremation with Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date. The Royal Canadian Legion Br.# 367, Thamesville will hold a Legion Service on Wednesday evening at 6:45pm.
