Miller: George Albert, formerly of Wardsville, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the age of 96. George was a veteran of W.W.II, serving overseas in the Highland Light Infantry. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen (Samways) Miller (2015). Loving father and father-in-law of Patricia & Robert Person of Chatham, Albert & Shirley Miller of Scarborough, Harold & Maryann Miller of Wardsville and Joan Miller of Rodney. Cherished grandpa of Chadd, Erin, Michelle, Jeff, Denise, John, Nicole, Kim, Dan, Tiffany and Samantha. Sadly missed by several great and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Robert Miller. The Miller family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Monday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Golden of the Wardsville United Church officiating. Interment McLean Cemetery, Aldborough Twp. Donations to the Wardsville United Church or Four Counties Health Services (Palliative Care) would be appreciated by the family.
