van Middelkoop: Anna a resident of RR #3 Bothwell passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 88. Born in Amsterdam, Holland daughter of the late Jan and Anna (Duit) Paape. Beloved wife of the late Marinus van Middelkoop. Loving mom of Diana Arnold (Jim), Margaret Brittain (Wayne), Art (Kathy), Rob (Starlene) and Ted (Melony). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The van Middelkoop family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Steve Filyer and Pastor Kent Babbey officiating. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Bothwell Baptist Church or Chatham-Kent Hospice. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.

Today, the day of the funeral of Annie, I heard from my cousin Paulina that my other beloved cousin, Annie, your mother and mother-in-law has passed away. I did not see this message earlier. Willem and I send you our deepest condolances. It's very sad that she has gone, but of course she was very ill and very weak. We know you all will miss her a lot but you also know that she deserves peace and rest. We will miss her, her mails and letters. We are convinced she's in heaven now.We think of you all and wish you a lot of strenght with your heavy loss.

Your Mom was a one of a kind lady who touched the life of every single person she touched or came in contact with. I first met her in my teens and never forgot her or your Dad. All the feelings I have running through my mind right now would take forever to write. So instead I will just say the world, our church, her family, friends and community have lost one of the most amazing women ever to grace our lives.
