Aunt Gail,
You often made me smile when you would say that you are "my favourite Aunt". With such stiff competition, I may not commit to that (publicly), but I will say that you are an incredible Aunt. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of our time on your farm, around your kitchen table, under the walnut tree in the yard.
You set an example of child care that is a perfect blend of fun and love with expectations and boundaries that I still try to emulate.
My biggest regret is that I live so far away that my son didn't get to know you as I did. I just wish I could have one more of your wonderful hugs that makes a kid (even adult kids) know that everything is going to be ok.
