Mary, Ken and family: I am very sorry for your great loss. I have two great memories of this great man. The first is going over to help build a shed with Ralph. We ran out of nails, and Rupert brought out a can of nails that looked liked they came over on the ark. You never know when you can find something useful that others would throw out! We could just straighten out the best ones and use them...I think we all laughed for weeks after that one!
The other memory was Rupert coming home to his glass of the best ice tea I have ever had! Sun tea! Great conversation, great fellowship, and a great friend.
Rupert would never steer your wrong, and was always there to help. May God bring happy memories to warm your heart, and the truth of HIS word to reassure your soul of the joy that awaits for those who love the Lord. God Bless. Don.

He will be sadly missed by our family as my son Kyle and now my son Travis had the pleasure of getting to know him every night at the Solid Rock Cafe in Tilbury. He and Mary are like grandparents to a lot of teens visiting the centre, I know they are to my two for sure. And have helped mold and shape the Youth into the fine young men and women they are today.
