McCorkle: Rupert George "Rupie" a resident of Dresden passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home at the age of 83. Born in Dresden, son of the late Ronald and Vera (Scott) McCorkle. He was a member of the Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Dresden. Beloved husband of Mary (Boswell) McCorkle. Loving father of Kenneth McCorkle (Lori), Connie Wiepjes (Maurice), Douglas McCorkle (Ruth), Penny McCorkle, Susan Deschenes (the late Jean). Cherished Papa of Kendra (Mike), Mark (Emily), Andrew, Brett (Chelsea), Amanda, Brianna (Patrick), Stephanie, Madison and Morgan. Dear brother of Appalene Brown and Floyd McCorkle. Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, 240 Queen St. W., Dresden on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Dresden. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
