Haney: Edith Elizabeth formerly of Dresden and Thamesville passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, Chatham on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the age of 96. She was born in Detroit, daughter of the late Bert and Maude (Critington) Christner. Beloved wife of the late Orval Haney (1993). Edith is survived by her caretaker, niece, and best friend Kathleen Chandler and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Ellen Cook (Jack), Betty Christner and brothers Walter, Nelson, and Harold Christner. At Edith’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. A graveside service will be held at Sherman Cemetery, Thamesville on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00am. If desired donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
