Obituary of Norm Kelley

Kelley: Norman , a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the age of 76. Born in Camden Twp., son of the late William and Margaret (Burnett) Kelley. Norm was a veteran, serving in the Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR) and retired as a Master Corporal where he had made a fine contribution to Canada's peacetime services. He was a Past President and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#  367, Thamesville,  Past Master, District Deputy Grand Master and member of the Tecumseh Sydenham Lodge No. 245 A.F & A.M and a member of the Ahcom Shrine Club, Chatham. Beloved husband of Ann (Laing) Kelley. Lovng father of Marylyn Kelley, Lisa Rishaur (Joe), and Mark Hawley. Loving grandpa to Jaimee Rishaur, Ashylyn Hawley, Devyn Stephens, Garret Greenwood. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Kelley, Betty Coll, Karen Malott, Irene Graham, Valerie Clunis, Marion Laing and Bill Laing.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by sisters Beatrice Baverstock, Alva Hawgood, a brother Leonard "Pete" Kelley, and brothers-in-law Howard Baverstock, Bill Bear, Leslie Hawgood, Calvin Malott, John Coll, Don Graham, Doug Laing, Earl Laing and several nieces and nephews. At Norm's request cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment of cremains will be in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
