It was truly a blessing to have known Joan for the last 7 years or so. Her faith and love for God and the things of God was a true inspiration and she was always interested in my latest sermons, and couldn't wait to receive a copy. I will miss our many conversations and times of prayer. Joan often told me that she enjoyed talking because she was inoculated with a phonographic needle as a youngster. Joan's favourite reading from the Bible was Psalm 139 and I pray that as God searched Joan's heart to see if there was any offensive way in her that God would search our hearts as well so that we can join her in everlasting life. I also pray that God would bring comfort and peace to Linda and Don and to those that Joan has touched.
