Saunders; Geraldine F. "Geri" (nee Konecny) a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the age of 65. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late James and Frances Konecny. Beloved wife of Paul Saunders. Dear sister to Martin Konecny (Stephanie),Jim Konecny (Maryellen), and sister-in-law to Don Saunders (Elizabeth), Richard Saunders (Anne), Gary Saunders (Linda), and the late Daniel Saunders (Connie). Cherished aunt to Katrina, Martin Jr., Paige, and Brandon Konecny, Bayne, Bryan, Todd, Glenn, Sherry Lynn, David, Kelly, and Shaun Sanders. Forever remembered by her aunt Lilli Antos (the late John). Predeceased by her in-laws Stan and Leta Saunders. At Geri's request, cremation has taken place. The Saunders Family will receive friends and relatives at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes in Dresden Cemetery at a later date.
