Obituary of Beulah Grace Jones

Jones: Beulah Grace (Card), passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the age of 94.  Born in Zone Township, daughter of the late Alvin and Ida "Millie" (Clark) Card. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Jones (2002).  She is predeceased by her siblings, Bessie, Gladys, Sherman, and Mark. Dearly loved mother of Louise Ogg-Dix (Wayne) and Delbert Jones (Cathy Estey). Cherished by her grandchildren Tania Ogg, Krista Ogg (Jeff Schlegel), Karen Carr (Matt), Keith Jones (Kristina) and her five great-grandchildren. Beulah was a devoted mother who loved and cherished her family. Alongside Garnet she enjoyed working tirelessly on the family farms while working nights at the Clayton Nursing Home, Thamesville and Babcock Nursing Home, Wardsville. She was a lifelong member of the Bothwell United Church and the U.C.W. After Garnets passing she joined the Thamesville Seniors Centre where she enjoyed the fellowship with its members playing pepper and shuffleboard. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Andrew's Residence, Chatham and to the loving care recently received at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Due to the Covid -19 precautions a private funeral service will be held. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. A Celebration of Beulah's Life will be held at the Bothwell United Church at a later date. (please check the Badder funeral home website for further information).  Donations (by cheque) to the Chatham-Kent Hospice or the Bothwell United Church would be appreciated.
