To the family , I send you my sincere condolences for your loss of Leola . I've known her since I was just a kid . She grew up just down the road from my grandparents , Clarence and Florence Webster. She and I exchanged Christmas cards over a period of many years . I'll always remember her boisterous laugh and her big smile whenever we ran into each other . My thoughts are with you during this most difficult time .

Eileen and Andrea,
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Leola. I know that she was always a great supporter of the Whitson Reunion, and I recall always seeing her when I lived in Dresden when I was younger. She loved to chat and always took time to do so, reminding me she was Cousin Leola!.
My sister and I were reminiscing about trips to your parents farm in search of mushrooms and puffballs!
She will be missed. Thinking of you. Be well.

I am so sorry to hear of Leola's passing. She and my mother, Jean Bryans, were great friends. They knew each other from elementary school and kept in touch for many years. They kept up with each other by phone as they both got older and less mobile. Mom will be sad to hear of her passing.

Our sincere sympathy to the family. We first met Leola when she was at Babcock's in Wardsville. Elaine was playing the piano for "Don's Songs" every other Friday morning. Leola always had a happy hello and wave when I came in. We realized we had the same last name and when I checked the family tree book found she was originally married to a cousin of Mervins. We arranged for several private visits with her.

I always enjoyed my visits with cousin Leola when I was able to get to Canada and to Dresden. She always shared memories of my father (cousin John) and my mother. My condolences to her sister and niece and the extended family, Kathleen (Whitson) Burke.
