Allan Edward Pegg
August 30,1936 - September 4, 2020

Allan was born to Marguerite and Morley Pegg and raised on the farm at RR 2 Tupperville with his sister Bonnie, spending hours of comraderie and hijinks with many Martin cousins. Allan grew up with ponies, dogs, chickens and chores. In his young adult years, he graduated to enjoying  unique cars. After working in Sarnia and marrying Margaret Rose McGugan, he chose to farm with his parents. Allan was a wonderful husband, father, poppa, brother, uncle and friend. He worked hard all of his life on the farm and off; at the Dresden Arena, trucking livestock and tomatoes, installing swimming pools and doing infrastructure work for Bell Telephone. He had a great sense of humour and loved to tease. If he was giving you a hard time, that was high praise. Allan enjoyed playing baseball, hockey, golf, going to dances, and helping with minor hockey. Upon his retirement, he found himself enjoying coffee at 6 am with likeminded farmers and friends, sharing the highs and lows of the challenges of the day. Allan is survived by his loving wife, sister Bonnie Baillargeon, children Stacey Pegg Wilson (Dave), Christy Pegg Ermers (Ed), Mark Pegg (Lisa) and Shawn Pegg (Denise); grandchildren Daniel, Vienna, Kelsey, Sydney, Colin, Isaac, Justin and Justice; brother-in-law Don McGugan (Anne) and sister-in-law Violet Fell (Jack). A private family service will be held at  Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre  with interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or Dawn Valley United Church. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
