The first time I met Duane I could tell right away he was a stand up solid guy. It didn't take long to see he was caring, considerate, funny and loved his job.I looked forward to our little chats and safety tips between shifts .With all that he had gone through he continued to teach and help others. He has shown us all the true meaning of courage, strength and determination. An amazing Man that we were all lucky to have known and call our friend

Sharon and family,
We all have heavy hearts with news of Duane's passing. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go to you all.
Duane was such a caring, compassionate and thoughtful co-worker and support to the people supported by LCDS. Duane always put everyone above himself and was quick to bring a smile to the face of those he knew him.
We have so many stories to share. We will miss him more than he and you will know.

Thinking of you all,

Sharon and family. I was heartbroken to hear of Duane's passing. He fought so hard to live his life. I will forever treasure the "texting" talks we had. I will also fondly remember the times we worked together at the association. He was a good sport when we would play pranks on him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
