I had the pleasure of speaking with Margaret on a few occasions following Marcel's car accident in August. Margaret conveyed a love for her family and a selflessness that I'm sure many who know her can attest to, I wish I had the opportunity to meet her face to face. I will always remembering having Mrs DeClerk as my resource teacher in elementary school. She was always someone i could go to and someone to taught me a lot of things. And seeing her after later on in life, we would always recognize eachother and have nice chats everytime! Rest in sweet peace beautiful ❤️

Dear Marcel and family, Hearing of the loss of Margaret was shocking. She was so vibrant, busy and full of life. She worked so hard all the time and was a great cook. On our annual weekends In Ingersoll with you Marcel & Margaret, Chris & Donna, Bob & Lynn, Peter & June and Rudy, I we all knew how well she could cook. She was fun to be with and she learned the card games quickly. Marcel, you and Margaret were inseparable. You did everything together and we loved your company. Our hearts go out to you, Marcel and your family. I can't imagine the void you all must be feeling now. She will be a gentle spirit that will walk with you in all of your daily lives. We will be praying for you and hope to see you in the near future.

Marcel and family: It is with great sadness and feeling of loss that we learned of Margaret’s passing only 2 days after Donna had seen her and Marcel and was so glad to see that they looked in good health. And then the unthinkable happens. What happens, happens and life is not always on our side. We also believe that God does not take good people; the body and health does that and we never know when that happens. We also believe that God takes those in who have to leave this world and welcomes them into the perfect community of saints. We can only call them the best of friends, having met at Cursillo and then in the Diaconate training and discernment program from 2005 to 2009. Of course, we have now been friends for well over 10 years and have had the most spiritual and fun weekend once a year with the close knit Diaconate class members who have kept in touch with our seminary guides.
Margaret we will miss you. Marcel, and family, our hearts go out to you. But we all believe in a better place and pray that Margaret is there and looks on us with fondness, support and smiles. We will miss her sensitivity, humour and social personality. God Bless and keep us all.

Margaret was a childhood friend, schoolmate and neighbor. Although I had not seen her in some time, I have memories of our walks to and from the one room schoolhouse in Proton, then our bus rides to high school in Flesherton as well as outside school get togethers.
