Muriel's calm accepting kindness was a gift to those who knew her. Those who greeted her could be assured of a smile and moment to share thoughts if they needed support of friendship.
The days of her life included some painful challenges, but also gave to others a recognition of their own worth.
May her kindness and love find peaceful fellowship in the creator's kingdom.

My deepest sympathy to all of Muriel's family. Muriel was such a lovely, sweet ,gentle lady. I came to know Muriel when she joined Chatham Kent Retired Teachers. Talking her into being Secretary was no easy task but she did it and went on to become President. I always enjoyed a visit with her. May all your wonderful memories bring peace at this difficult time and through the times ahead. RIP my cherished friend.

Remembering a dear friend and colleague who meant so much to so many. May Muriel's family and friends find comfort in memories of happy times. It was wonderful that her family could be with her in her final days. This memory alone could be the most comforting of all. With sympathy and understanding, Tanya Hardy

On behalf of the Dawn Township Historical Society & Patricia and myself, we offer our condolence and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Muriel Viola Hotham. We have had the pleasure of working, laughing, and planning over the years with Muriel at the Dawn Historical Society. Muriel always saw an opportunity to make things better and act on it. Her common-sense approach was part of the backbone of the group. May God give You His Peace and Understanding, and may the memories of Muriel help you through difficult times. Harold & Patricia Snary

The Dupon family would like to express our condelences to the family and friends of Muriel Hotham. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we hope you find peace and strength in the days ahead. Muriel was a wonderful lady and touched many people. As a young guy I spent many weekends with the Hothams and shared alot of fun times at their home and cottage. People who know Muriel and spent time with her know that she was always welcoming and an incredibly generous person. Muriel, Gerald, and the Hotham family always went out of their way to make me feel at home. I'm sure she's touched many lives just like she did mine. She will be missed. Rest in peace Muriel.
