You were big part of dads life. I want to think you helped each other in the beginning, when dad 1st got in the tractor business. He would always use your advice on "1 ton trucks". And I know you two spent countless hours, at countless auctions, talking while waiting to bid "against" each other when the tractors were selling at the end of the day. Never any bitterness or resentment towards the "victor" after, just mutual respect for each other. Thank you Ron for always being dads friend.

Virginia, Uncle Ray, Sue, Pete, Amy, Craig, Emily and family so sorry to hear about the passing of your Husband, Father, and grandpa. Its hard to believe I've known the family for thirty something years. And now in the recent years your father was a neighbor. Always a wave when he was driving by, or between farms on the gator. And I'm going to miss when id stop by the shop. He would always say " How ya doing young fella" and ask how things were and ask about the family. A hard working man that loved his family. I have worked at the coop over 23 years enjoyed when Steve would come in for coffee we would sit on my break and talk about farming and some sale he has been to .and in the spring coming on road trip so he could show ne which wheat feilds he wanted clover put on...our prayers and condolences to family members and friends

Virgina, Ray, Peter , Susan and all the family So very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. Was so surprised to hear. A lot of bike rides back in the day from our house to yours (with a stop at Ernie’s on the way) which allows the opportunity to really know your neighbours we were very fortunate and had some good ones! Dad especially enjoyed there day drives to check out dealerships I know your dad enjoyed the company but Fred was not to much company on the drive home because that’s when he would have a little nap ! It’s hard to see these good guys go. Thinking about you all during this difficult time
