I have fond memories of visiting with Dorothy at the annual Dobbyn / Dolsen reunions. She was warm, positive, easy to talk to, with a good sense of humour - she was one of those people who made you glad you made the effort to stay connected to relatives you don't see very often! My deepest sympathy to the Tinneys and descendants, and to other family and friends at this loss. Love Kate Waters (daughter of David & Elizabeth Waters, nee Blakie)

Family of Dorothy Macaulay,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, a wonderful lady and friend to many. I remember Dorothy, from her many years in nursing at FCHS, as a warm and compassionate care giver. My mother also volunteered with the FCHS auxiliary during the 1990s and had many good times with Dorothy as they served others. I pray, that each of you, as her family, will reach out and embrace each other for comfort at this time. Dorothy, as I have said, had many friends and as much as it is possible will be supporting you in your grief.

Dear Macaulay friends,
We are greatly saddened to hear that Dorothy has passed - she was so wonderful to all of us.
Many happy High School hours were spent around the Macaulay home and kitchen! My favourite Dorothy memory is trying to apply makeup and particularly, mascara, on her before Joanne's wedding --- firstly, she had to sit still (there was probably laundry to do) and secondly, it was far too much direct attention being spent on her!! She did look beautiful though!
Our girls vividly remember all the puppies that she had on one visit to the farm and how much they begged to bring one home!!
We are all honoured to have known this kind, generous and smart woman!
With much love,
Grant, Beth, Gillian & Kira Eccles
