Sopala, David Joseph a resident of Chatham passed away peacefully with his friends by his side Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 51. He was born in St. Thomas son of the late Joseph and Frances Sopala. Dave worked as a master journey-man at Superior Tool & Die for many years followed by Russell Tool & Die. He was very proud of his Polish heritage. Dave’s family was small but he had an abundance of friends. He will be sadly missed by his friends. A celebration of Dave’s (Soap’s ) life will take place at the CAW Hall, Merritt Ave., Chatham On Friday, May 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A special thank you to all the staff in ICU and the many friends that stopped by. Arrangements entrusted to Badder Funeral Homes, Thamesville.
