Obituary of Rita Wilhelmsen

Rita (Becker) Wilhelmsen passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Friday, January 24,2025 at the age of 70. Born in Flensburg Germany, daughter of the late Katherine (Wohlfahrt) and Erwin Becker

Rita leaves behind her husband of 28 yrs, Odd; Sons Rob (Erin) Burnett and Ken Burnett; Step-children Trevor Wilhelmsen and Amanda Wilhelmsen; Grandchildren Jasmine, Wilson and Carter; Step-grandchildren Cheyanne, Logan, Desiree, Andrew, Marcus, Liam; Siblings Kurt (Faye), Uve; many nieces, nephews along with her fur baby Maggie. Predeceased by siblings Herman, Erika, Erwin and Marg. 

A Celebration of life will be held at the Dresden Legion on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1-4pm.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors of LHSC and VON for all the care in the last year.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden.
