Obituary of Simeon George Caryn

Simeon Caryn peacefully passed away at Four Counties Health Services – Newbury surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 19^th 2025 at the age of 90. Simeon was the son of the late Robert and Martha Caryn. Loving husband of the late Isabell Caryn (2016). Beloved father of Rick Caryn (Susan), and Richard (Ann) Caryn. Grandfather of Jill Caryn, Sarah Caryn, Robert (Carina) Caryn. Great-Grandfather to Everly & Easton Caryn. Cherished brother of Donald (Shelley) Caryn, Romain Caryn (Linda). Simeon was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed travelling and watching his great-grandchildren grow. Simeon will be missed by his neighbours and friends at the coffee shop. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Simeon may be made to either the Thamesville or Dresden Legions.

Thank you to the staff and nurses at Four Counties Health Services for their kind and compassionate care during Simeon’s final days. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8^th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Thamesville Legion. A private family service will be held at a later date.
