Obituary of Doris Swain

Swain: Doris "Dory", formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care, Chatham on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Born in Macklin, Sask., daughter of the Late George and Annie (Mable) Swain. Dory had been a hairstylist in Thamesville for over 50 years. She was a member of the Community of Christ, Wabash and an active member of the Thamesville Horticultural Society. Dear sister of Margaret Ramsden. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Elsie Drewery and brother Bud Swain.  The Swain family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 12:30 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 PM. Interment of cremains in Mayhew-Mt.
