Obituary of Mary Van Rycheghem

Van Rycheghem: Maria "Mary" formerly of R.R.#3 Kent Bridge, passed away peacefully at Eden Villa, Chatham with her family by her side  on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the age of  94. Born in Raleigh Twp., daughter of the late Hector and Lucy (Haest) Kimpe. Mary was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church  and the C.W.L. Beloved wife of the late Jules Van Rycheghem (2017). Loving mother of Michael Van Rycheghem (Chris), Mark and Rosie Van Rycheghem and Michelle Beselaere. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Hilary (Lui), Luke (Manuela), Mark Jr. (Abbey), Emily (Chris), Madison (Dan), Michael (Rachel), Gabe, Mackenzie, Marissa, Megan and great-grandchildren Lilah, Ruby, L.J., Levi, Lincoln, Samuel, Winnie, Harvest, Nora and Annie. Predeceased by a brother and two sisters. The Van Rycheghem family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Prayers will be held at 7:45 PM and can be watched on our livestream by clicking the link below and signing up. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 9 Alice St., Thamesville on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville. Lunch will follow the interment at the Thamesville Sertoma Club. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
