Obituary of Shannon Renee Sands

Shannon Renee Sands, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 52. Born on Walpole Island, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Doreen Sands. She is survived by her children Concetta Kenny, Dustin Kenny, Rai-Lynn Riley and Rain Riley; her grandchildren Lillian, Stella and Logan and brother Benjamin Jr. (aka Uncle Ben). The Sands family will receive family and friends at the the Walpole Island Sports Complex, 770 Tecumseh Rd., Walpole Island on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment in Highbanks Cemetery, Walpole Island. Online condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
