Obituary of Margaret Ellen Kelley
Kelley: Margaret Ellen (McFeggan), passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Born in Orford Twp., daughter of the late Roy and Hattie (Richardson) McFeggan. Marg was a member of the Thamesville United Church and a former member of the St. James Presbyterian Church. She sang for many years in the St. James Trio with Jean and Muriel. Beloved wife of the Late Leonard “Pete” Kelley (2009). Loving mother of Sherry Hind (Douglas) of Chatham, Debra Chase (Charles) of Rodney, Ellen Babula (Ross) of Thamesville, Mark Kelley (Shannon) of Ridgetown. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Shawn, Lori Lynn, Mary Lynn, Sarah, Justin, Jason, Debbie, Aaron, Tim, Adam, Scott, and Patrick and 22 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son David J. Kelley (1998) and brothers John (late Joan) and Stan McFeggan (Late Mary Ellen). The Kelley family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 17, 2025 At 11:00 AM. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations the Thamesville Legion or the Thamesville United Church would be appreciated.
