Obituary of Shirley Ann Bolton

BOLTON, Shirley Ann passed away suddenly at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the age of 70. Born in Strathroy ON., daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Tait) Tofflemire. Beloved wife and best friend of Dave Bolton for 49 years. Loving mother of Scott and the late Jennifer Bolton-LaPointe. Proud grandma of Savannah LaPointe. Dear sister of Russell Tunks, Betty Cooper (Jim), Jean Ray (Mike). Sister-in-law to Lynda Tunks, Wayne (Shanno) Bolton, Vickie (Brian) Peaslee and Terry Bolton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Charlie and Bob Tunks and sister-in-law Pam Haddock. Shirley also leaves behind many wonderful and loving friends. At Shirley’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at the Bothwell Legion 162 George St, Bothwell, on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
