Obituary of James Wesley Welch

Welch: Wesley James, a resident of Thamesville, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Born in Enniskillen Twp., son of the late Herbert and Stella (Meredith) Welch. Beloved husband of the Late Rose Welch (Benjamin) (2024). Loving father of Brent, Brenda, Bradley (Tammy), Bonnie, and Beverly Welch. James will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda), Tyler (Allison), Hailey (Miguel), Denzel, Alyia, Faith, Amber (Shawn), Adam, Seth, Madelyn and great grandchildren DJ, Ruth, August, Penn, William, and Andrew. Predeceased by a sister Mae Lapp and a brother Sam Welch. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. At Jame's request Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to visitation at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St.,Thamesville on Tuesday August 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. A Private Family Interment at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville will be held at a later date. Donations to Four Counties Health Services Foundation would be appreciated.
