Obituary of Peter Klassen Dyck
Peter Dyck, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 75. Born in Mexico, the son of the late Abraham and Helena (Klassen) Dyck. Peter was a member of the Faith Haven Mennonite Church Croton. Beloved husband of Margaretha (Redekopp) Dyck. Cherished father of Helena Dyck, David Dyck (Tina), Abe Dyck (late Tina), Margaret Klassen (John), Anita Klassen (Abe), Susan Dyck, Tina Martin (Peter), Mary Dyck, Peter Dyck (Susan), Johnny Dyck (Norma) and Judi Horst (Durrell). Sadly missed by 39 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers, 8 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Susana Dyck, son Toby Dyck, granddaughter Abigail, brother John Dyck and sister Maria Peters. Family and friends will be received at the Faith Haven Mennonite Church, 29923 Oakdale Rd., Croton on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the church on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment in Blackburn Cemetery, Dresden.
