Obituary of Arlene Van Goethem

Van Goethem: Arlene (Gawne), a resident of R.R.#1 Bothwell, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the age of 76. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Clifford and Mildred (McBrien) Gawne. Arlene loved her dogs and horses, she spent many hours crafting. Beloved wife of the late Frank VanGoethem (2002). Arlene is survived by her son Terry Cumming; granddaughters Sasha, Amber (Robert), Paige, Sloane (C.J.), Jaiden; great grandchildren Kayleb, Coleson, Sterling;  brother Brian Gawne; nieces Julie and Erica and nephew Ian. Predeceased by her daughter Tracy Taylor, sister Elaine Hack, brother Bruce Gawne and nephew Stephen. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside service will be held at Fansher Cemetery at a later date.
