Obituary of Catherine Lynn Jacobs

Jacobs: Catherine “Ngukaa-nzukaxkw”, a member of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the age of 69. Born in London, ON, daughter of the late Lenley French and Helen Waddilove from the Munsee and Delaware Nation. Beloved wife of the Late Mitchell Jacobs (2010).  Loving and proud mother of Kristin, Kelly, Josh, and the late Jordan (2003). Sadly missed by her grandsons Barry M. Stonefish and Jakob Huff. Dear sister of Ken Waddilove (Sally) and Jim Waddilove (Beth). Predeceased by siblings Glenn French, Ginger Henry (Garnette), Gwen French (Cyril), Trudy Deleary (Don), Grace Waddilove, Patrick Waddilove (Trudy). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-neices and nephews. The Jacobs family will receive friends and family at Catherine’s home,  22344 Centre Rd, Moraviantown on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Monday at the Delaware Nation Community Centre, 14811 School House Line, Moraviantown from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Traditional Funeral Service will be held at the Delaware Nation Community Centre on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment Moraviantown Cemetery.
