Obituary of Robyne Virginia Comeau

Comeau: Robyne (nee Haskell), a resident of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, daughter of the Late Lyle and Erma (Pepper) Haskell. Beloved wife of the late Gary Comeau (2024). Loving mother of Ryan Drew (Jody), Randy Drew (Jen).  Proud Mema of Jonathan, Raelyn, and Ryder, Riley (Kelsie),and Hailey (Hunter)and great grandmother to Ella.  Dear sister of Brent Haskell (Christy). Also survived by brother-in-law Clyde Gibson (Anne). Predeceased by a sister Diane Giroux.

Robyne was a free-spirit who loved a great adventure and she even became a pretty good escape artist.  She was a die-hard Leafs fan and Bingo enthusiast. (She loved the Leafs “almost” as much as her boys).

Robyne was a very caring and compassionate person.  She reminisced often of her time as a healthcare aide at Thamesview Lodge and later as a caregiver to children with Special needs.

Robyne lived life to the fullest, loved her family fiercely and will now be enjoying her next great adventure.
