Obituary of Rick Lewis

Lewis: Richard “Rick” a resident of R.R.#3 Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the age of 61. Born in Chatham, Beloved son of Barbara (Ferguson) Lewis of R.R.# 3 Bothwell and the Late Marvin “Bud” Lewis (2002).  Rick was a long haul truck driver taking him all over the country. He loved to hunt and fish. Rick was the “ Favourite Uncle “ to nieces Theresa (Jordan), Jessica (Mike). "Uncle Rick the Great" to his great nieces and nephews Karmendy, Weston, Ellowyn, Kay’Lee, Max, and Hunter. Sadly missed by his best furry buddy Yukon. Predeceased by his sister Judie Barry (2002) and brother-in-law Jim Barry (2014). The Lewis family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO SUNDAY'S IMPENDING WINTER STORM THE MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR RICK WILL BE HELD AT 3:30 PM SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Bothwell Baptist Church, would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
