Our sincerest condolences. Aunt Irene will be greatly missed. She was a blessing to many. I have many fond memories of being on the farm in the summer as a child. It was a blessing that she was able to see her great great nephew this past summer.
Enjoy Heaven Aunt Irene :)

Even though Irene was "Grandma Jackson" to my cousins, I remember getting the chance to spent time at their farm as a child and the warmth she exuded as a loving grandmother. The money found within the birthday cakes were magical to me and thought she was an incredible baker for it. I also remember the love that was felt between her and her husband. He was such a kind soul as well. May they both rest together peacefully. Sending love and healing to the Jackson family and all that were touched by her life.

I usually think of Irene at Erie Beach. She and Jim were both part of the core group of people, along with my other grandparents John and Donna Scherer, Bud Swain, the Jacques' and others. They fixed things, built things, kept the grounds up, sorted out problems. Irene cooked for so many people running the kitchen over the years. I don't know how she did it. She was tireless hard working and never complained. She was responsible for putting together the camp experience that hundreds, and over the years probably thousands of people you and old enjoyed. She helped build and hold that community together. In recent years we spoke on the phone regularly. She was quick and smart, never forgot a thing. I'd often tell her about the things Harper was doing, and she had stories of Brian Pam and Barrie at the same age he is. We'll miss her greatly.

Irene and I had many happy experiences together at Erie Beach. She was the greatest cook for our many camps over the years. We had many laughs together. Will miss her dearly. Jim and her will be together again with their Lord and Savior.❤️

I remember Irene at reunion when I was young, she always said Hi and was a very hard worker, both in the kitchen and out.
As I got older we had some good conversations together., which I will remember.
She and Jim were well matched as he was always joking and she a bit quieter.
Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family, during this difficult time.
Love Charlene and Paul
