Obituary of Dave Craeymeersch

Craeymeersch: David with great sadness we announce that Dave passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham following a hard fought fight with Glioblastoma on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the age of 56. Born in Chatham, son of Charles and Ellen (Broeders) Craeymeersch. Dave loved to race dirt bikes, where he spent many weekends on the track and enjoyed boating at Mitchell’s Bay with all his friends.  Loving brother of Ron Craeymeersch (Tammie), Brian Craeymeersch (LeeAnn), and the Late Lynne Badder-Craeymeersch. Proud uncle to nieces Amanda (Chad), Justin (Jacqueline), Alyssa  (Matt), Aaron (Michelle), Alexandra, Alycia, and Jonathan and several great-nieces and nephews . Lovingly remembered by Michelle Hetherington, Madison and Maxx. Dave will be sadly missed by his good friend Wayne Carroll and his many friends who meant so much to him. At Dave’s request, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held in the shop at the farm this summer.
