Willson, Bernard James

Bernard Willson, a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on May 1, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in England, son of the late James and Mary Ann (Poole) Willson.

Bernard is survived by his loving wife; Rose Marry (Bowles) Willson and his children Matthew and Laura. He was a proud papa to Rebecca and Danica, and a cherished great-grandfather to Paisley and Jin. He is also survived by his brother, Ward. He was predeceased by his children, Lou Ann and Jason, and his sisters, Margaret and Jacqueline.

Bernard will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the meaningful relationships he built throughout his life.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 1:00 pm at Arnold Cemetery,10282 Longwoods Road,Chatham.
