Canadian Cancer Society Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario Piper: Garry, a resident of Merlin, passed away suddenly at the C.K.H.A. ,Chatham on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the age of 71. Born in Essex County, son of the late Joseph Piper and Mildred (Quick) Piper (Haskell). He was retired from Chryslers in Windsor. Garry is survived by a son ; a grandaughter Rachel; sisters Beverley, Phyllis, Donna, and brothers Albert, Ron, and Bruce. Predeceased by a son Greg, sisters Frances and Alice, and brothers Joseph, Wayne, and Elmer. The Piper family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., on Friday evening from 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
