Hopkins: Leighton a resident of Moraviantown, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Peggy (Myers) Hopkins. Loving father of Wendy (Jim), Bob (Gayle), Heather (Neil), Katharine (Bill), Jason (Johnna), Adam (Jen), Jen (Chris) and Alex. Sadly missed by grandchildren Val (Jonah), Josh, Nathan (Carrie), Kyle (Abigail), Andrew, Carl, Kelsey, Jeremy, McKenna, Chloe, Elizabeth and great-grandchildren Jalen, Isaac, Walker, Meadow, Liam, Christian, J.J., Asher, and Kleyton. Dear brother of Rosaline, Annette (Ronnie), Eunice Jean (Reinus). Predeceased by his first wife Myrna (French), a son Timothy, a grandson Parker, brothers Sam, Billy, Reggie, and a sister Sally. At Leighton's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Leighton's Life will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Moraviantown United Church at 4:00 PM, immediately followed by a feast at the Community Centre.
