Marcus: Harold A., a resident of Bothwell, passed away suddenly at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the age of 84. Born in Bothwell, son of the late Andrew and Maude (Goodyear) Marcus. Harold owned and operated Marcus Trucking Ltd. for 64 years. Sadly missed by his wife Vera (McDonald) Marcus. Loving father of Denis and Cathy Marcus of R.R.#3 Bothwell and Elaine and her husband Randy Badiuk of R.R.# 3 Bothwell. Loving grandfather of Amy Jo Campbell (Kyle), Amanda and Amelia Marcus, Stacey, and Scott Badiuk. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doris Price of Clachan, Betty and Ross Beamish of Bothwell, Eva Rankin of Sombra, and Jean Marcus of Komoka. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Nancy (1964), sisters Alta Marcus, Jean Ashton, a brother Louis Marcus and brothers-in-law Jack , Emerson, Earl, and Cliff . The Marcus family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00am with Rev. Annalee Kerr of the Bothwell United Church officiating. Interment Bothwell Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Bothwell United Church, Four Counties Health Services Foundation or the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.
