Aunt Phyllis was the ray of sunshine on a gray day as she never let life bog her down. She always took time for our family and until my adulthood always made sure I had a Christmas present and Birthday Card. When she was 78 she came with Mom, Dad and me to the Windsor Fireworks, it was her first time to this event and we, unfortunately, sat on the wrong side of the smoke clearing so it wasn't the impressive show it should have been but she enjoyed it anyway. The memory that makes me smile the most is her doing the highland fling at the Cross Christmas not that many years ago. I consider myself lucky to have had such a caring, loving Aunt full of such spunk.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of your mom.Phillis open my first bank account for me when I was 6. I still remember how she made me feel so important. I was so proud. I can't exactly remember when I first met Phyllis, I must have been two or three years old. I think my earliest memory of her is playing at Melissa's house and wanting to go outside in the snow. Sheila always encouraged us to zip up our own coats but I remember sneaking over to Phyllis and she zipped me right up! From that time on, she was "Grandma Phyllis" to me. She had a lovely laugh and contagious smile - a true love for life!
